    : The founder of the Facebook - more than 600 million users around the globe

      Icon of the modern Internet society

3. Who is Julian Assange?

    : The editor in chief of Wikileaks - Iraq War and Afghan War documents published

      Recieved a lot of awards

4. Why "a person" of the year?

    : Why not give it to both of them? - both had a lot of influence to people

      (a) There is no objective standard to decide who will be the person.

           : Influence is very subjective thing - the influence of a same action differs from person to person

            => They have different characteristics - hard to compare
      (b) Time readers choice and the actually selected person is different.
            => can satisfy both

5. Conclusion

    : Both of them had a big influence in different ways; thus, lets give the title to BOTH OF THEM!
